DJ Shay Kapone is an American rapper, record producer & DJ from Tampa, FL. Best known for being discovered as an artist, “On Da Grind” by the major record label “Slip-N-Slide Records and working in several music production studios throughout Central Florida & Denver, Colorado. Being heavily influenced by Hip Hop Culture during the ’90s, I started as a songwriter & EMCEE. I quickly turned that same passion for writing music & began producing my style beats, evolving down the path of music production. I enrolled in a private technical college for a Bachelor’s Degree in Recording Arts, where I began working for local studios & attending beat battles & music conferences, quickly making a name for myself. Building on that same path of growing a musical legacy, The “DJ” was added to an already given street name, “Shay Kapone,” to create the brand @DJShayKapone
